Ryan, how much are you going to be selling the blem Raindropberators for? I may be interested in replacing my Malekko Chicklet with one!

Little bit of miniberator finishing news, we've made arrangements with the company to have them redo these boxes for us. They agree that this ink wasn't the right to be used and felt awful for the mishap and I think we're going to be on track with them now. So we'll send them back the remaining 100 rain drop minis and we won't clear coat them ourselves, we'll just have them done properly by them.

So for these 20 rain drop minis that we've already put together, we're going to sell them for $190 including shipping. That's $35 off the MSRP plus the shipping and as long as a person doesn't rub their pedal too much with sweaty hands or pour rubbing alcohol on it the finish should last them just fine. We do think people should be able to rub their pedals as hard as they want though so the finishes just aren't as durable as they should be, they're like a pseudo-blem finish.. faux-blem.. quasi-blem... they do look really nice.

If you're interested in one of these rain drop minis for $190 just send me a pm or an email, ryan@drscientist.ca, there's still 15 or so left.

And I totally agree with you guys that it's what's inside that counts but we really want these minis to be as durable as our hand finished pedals, totally immune to heavy petting and rubbing alcohol!

I really want one of these. I've been listening to "Sit Down, Stand Up" by Radiohead all day because of this pedal.

First off I'm so stoked that i got one of these.

Second, I'm not sure i'll ever get sick of Hail to the Thief. i can't believe that record is almost 7 years old now. The summer of 2003, i pretty much made everyone around me hate that record eventually. i just couldn't stop listening to it.

I couldn't agree more. The first time I heard "There, There" I knew I was going to be hooked on that album. There isn't a song on there that I don't love. Such a great band, and great CD!
