About trigger generators : Pamela's Workout is great. One really nice thing is that there's a start/stop button. Very, very useful.

The start/stop is a huge plus for the Pamela, but I'd only be able to use it as a trigger sequencer, whereas the Octocontroller has all the other things that would be super useful like the LFOs and S&H. I actually really don't know which I'd rather.

After watching a few more demos of the Octocontroller, I really just want it for everything else it does now...so, as usual, it looks like the answer will be get both
Luckily, I think the Octocontroller can also replace a few other modules in my plans as well.

Warps arrives tomorrow (ordered on christmas from PCA, and they ran out, so this is a backorder from a fresh batch).

I just started messing with the gate sequencer mode in the Voltage Memory, it's very nice. Need more drums now.
I also liked the WMD qunexus-looking keyboard thing they had a preview of a while back - can't remember the name or video now, but it had diagonal lit up keys and looked awesome. I think I'd wait for that...I already have two fancy touch controllers though.

Getting a Warps is way too fitting with your username, but please don't smash it. I'm hopefully getting one soon as well. I have a pending trade for one that I'm supposed to finalize tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

A WMD/SSF collab QuNexus like controller would be pretty sweet. I'm loving the other modules in their collab line. I didn't see anything on this controller, though.

Whoa, that is really cool. I like that latching mode. And the fact that it's pressure sensitive and has polyphony. Definitely looking into that.....(now I'm sad, apparently they've been too busy with the SSF collab to work on it)

So, I got my Trogotronic case last night. It is BEEFY, just real sturdy feeling. The only sort of downer is the way that the cord comes out but I guess it helps keep this water resistant, I can live with it though.

I really don't think anything else touches it in it's price point; it is sturdy, well powered and easy to transport safely.

Do you have any pictures of the case with modules in it ?

I'm probably going to order mine very soon, I had long-term plans for a 9U case but I scrapped them and planned this 6U as a somehow more limited but still super versatile and self-contained instrument (my extended/euro version of a Music Easel) and I'll keep my Cell90 for modules overflow/secondary instrument anyway...

I've got enough modules to fill it like this now :

About the power cable : WT from Trogotronic told me that the end of the cable can be put under the foam (near the top/bottom of the case) and you should still be able to close the case patched (the foam can be compressed). If that doesn't work, I'll attach it properly with something.

I'm not usually one to complain about a module being cramped, but that thing is way too tight. I wish they had at least made it another 4hp wider. Still tons of functionality in there. Would be great for a compact mini rack

I just plugged my Microbrute into the modular for the first time last night. Holy shit! So much fun and so many more options

Sequencers, argh. Way too many to choose from, and they're all so fucking cool, and I should be focusing on filters right now god dammit. I'm torn between MI Frames and Pittsburgh Game System for my next one. I can already cover some territories better than Frames with the Voltage Memory (2 extra outs), but nothing else has that morphing thing that Frames does...and now that I have Warps I want the other BIG KNOB...and multi-stage envelopes. But the pitts has that little joystick and that cool display, and is just as awesome in it's own ways. I don't really need either one yet, but will probably end up with both eventually.

I'm not avoiding Maths on purpose, but Frames would certainly make it a lot less necessary for the time being. I am sort of waiting for them to release a black maths though, to go with the wogglebug, rosie, pp, mother 32 etc.
