Here what I have.

This is in my car after I purchased the wood.
In french we call that wood "merisier" which I think in english is "cherry"

This is before the stain and oïl sealer.

I use two kind of grey for the finish... pale grey for the first coat and a darker grey (which I wiped promply).
It was done with Minwax oïl stain. Then I use a Livos oïl sealer (3 coats)

Don't really know why, but in some angle it could look a bit brownish.
