Last week, all of the freelancers and vendors my company uses began their annual onslaught of Thank You For Using Us This Year Snacks, ranging from Godiva chocolates to fancy french cookies from a local bakery to packaged cookie samplers. Then, over the weekend, a friend brought a tray of brownies covered with chocolate mixed with Justin's peanut butter and rice crispies over to my house. Today, one of our departments had their annual holiday potluck, and put the leftover cookies out RIGHT BY MY OFFICE. Friggin' sugar-saturated saltines covered in dark chocolate.

I feel horribly gross and distended, but want to go back for more of ALL OF IT.

Who else is engaging in questionable seasonal binging?

dude, my wife has been on a cookie making rampage,
Plus a few cakes and various other treads - Homemade cordial cherries and such.


It's nuts

gonna have some cookie weight to deal with in a few weeks

I bring cookies to work just to give them away, but then I have cookies at work........

My roommate brought home two tins full of delicious home made cookies and I straight up gained 5 pounds from it.

Pretty sure I have gained at least 5 pounds since Thanksgiving. I love to bake, so there is always something in the house. But now, there is LOTS of treats in the house and I love them all. sigh.

Oh man, I just got a tin of homemade butterscotch fudge with walnuts from a family friend and I still have half a chocolate pie in the fridge from our early Xmas dinner the other night. :snax:
