I mean I've been camping on Fraser where there is a dingo overpopulation problem because tourists kept feeding them, so what happens when they are told to stop and then the Rangers erect a massive fence to keep packs of dingos well away from a free meal?
The dingos get pissed, because they've learnt to rely on humans, and they start to starve.
Now, because they aren't afraid of people anymore, and they're fucking desperate to eat, they think having a shot at a kid or a toddler here and there is fair game.
It was bound to happen. No brainer.
So when you travel places and read those signs that say, Don't feed the wildlife", don't feed the fucking wildlife. It's bad for the animal, it's bad for people.

Dingos are basically just like Shiba Inus. They're mostly cool with people but if they're hungry or threatened your hand is coming off. So actually exactly like Shibes.

Most of our native animals arent really that deadly. They are complete arseholes though. My dad has been having this war with one huge old kangaroo that hangs around his property for like 18 months. He builds bigger and more complicated fences, the roo shows up, laughs and kicks them down.

Oh man we had possums on our roof for the first time this year. My wife had never heard them up close before. THEY SOUND LIKE PEOPLE.
