Also also worth noting that that MMA dude who beat the shit out of his pornstar girlfriend attempted to defend himself legally by saying (paraphrased) that it wasn't rape/assault because she did 'that sort of thing' professionally. So that's totally absurd but the important thing is that some defense lawyer (or team of lawyers) sat down and said "shit, this is the best we've got" and actually rolled with that because they figured their best shot was a variation on 'she was asking for it'. Which is an attitude that kind of plays into this, I think.
