Anyone use cloud based file storage?

hey dudes, recently my hard drive failed and I've been thinking about looking into storing backups of my files on a cloud server. does anyone here do this and can recommend doing it? anyone done this and regretted it?

I use Dropbox pro for professional use an ftp server I run myself for long term storage and freelance use. It really depends on how much and what you are storing. I also keep local backups on hard drives. Larger initial price, but lower long term cost. And easier to access.
