Re: Christmas Shopping
I go in buying mood swings. One year I will be completely in the spirit and over spend on everyone just to get them completely awesome gifts, even small gifts for friends I barely see much. Than I look at my bank account and have a money hangover and tell people I don't want to exchange the next year. And this literally happens every other year, haha.
My wife and I haven't exchanged since like the second year we bought our house (8 years ago). The first couple years we were strapped for cash, than we got married and than we had a kid. I will get her a little something every year but its always a surprise but now I like to focus on the kid. So far we got him this crazy huge wooden kitchen with dishes, food and what not because he likes to help me cook whenever he can.

My 4 year old boy gets a shit ton of lego star wars and ninjago (fuck yeah!), stormtrooper gun, playmobil agent station and a Electric car Race track. Pretty awesome for myself.
Wifey gets some merino stuff (shirts and socks), a comic, First season of bettet call Saul on DVD, an insulated outdoor skirt and perhaps pralines.

YAY for lego starwars!!!
Enjoy the legos while you can, my son is 9 now and he can build everything himself (even when the instructions are in chinese)
so now I don't get to play as much.

Re: Christmas Shopping
i only buy for my wife, and her xmas has already been covered with the PS4 and fallout4 and other assorted stuff. I'll still probably get her something else.
This year just this week, got a second Laney AOR 100 Pro and a second Peavey Butcher. So that's my xmas.
