Some statements

1. I didn't read the whole thread
2. I don't actually believe in the Mandela Effect
3. Bearing #2 in mind, I was SHOCKED when I found out it was "Berenstain." Fucking SHOCKED. Like I would have bet a large sum of money and/or my life on the fact that, when I was a kid, it was "Berenstein," and I would have been pretty confident about it
4. Even though I stand by #2, you never know. Anything's possible. In a very loose sense of the word

Gremlins character (movie) – Spike or Stripe? The only reliable sources say it was always Stripe, not Spike.
for me it's Spike. i remember playing with my friend Tyler after watching Gremlins and .. it was Spike.

Disney Movies – In “Snow White,” did the evil queen say “Mirror, mirror…” or “Magic mirror…”?

Fred Rogers’ song, “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” – Is the opening line “It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood” or “It’s a beautiful day in this neighborhood”?

Interview with a Vampire, or Interview with the Vampire?

Jif or Jiffy Peanut Butter – “Jiffy” is what many people remember, but Jif peanut butter was never called that :erm:

Nelson Mandela’s death in prison, and his funeral, long before his actual death (in this timestream) on 5 December 2013.

Tiananmen Square – Memories of “tank boy” getting run over. (Popular topic, and opinions seem split as to whether it’s a Mandela Effect issue or simple conspiracy and media manipulation.)

Muhammad Ali – Still alive (early 2015) per Wikipedia, but some recall his 2009 death.

Sex and the City – Was it “Sex in the City”

Star Wars – Was the iconic line “Luke, I am your father” or “No, I am your father”? :erm:

The Jiffy one got to me, I pictured a light blue jar of peanut butter that said 'Jiffy'
Turns out that brand is 'Skippy' so Jif+Skippy=Jiffy??

I swear that Don Vito guy died like 8 years ago.

Disney Movies – In “Snow White,” did the evil queen say “Mirror, mirror…” or “Magic mirror…”? Definitely "Mirror, mirror."

Fred Rogers’ song, “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” – Is the opening line “It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood” or “It’s a beautiful day in this neighborhood”? Definitely "the."

Interview with a Vampire, or Interview with the Vampire? "The."

Jif or Jiffy Peanut Butter – Is this an American brand? "Jiffy" sounds familiar but... neither really hits home.

Nelson Mandela’s death in prison, and his funeral, long before his actual death (in this timestream) on 5 December 2013. No connection to this at all.

Tiananmen Square – Memories of “tank boy” getting run over. This is SHOCKING. Right now, I clearly remember Tank Man getting run over. I remember talking with my mom about how sad it was that they just plowed over him like that. Laughing because of how weird this is. I was three when it happened, and this conversation would have been when I was five or so. More about my mom's memories than mine but still, she got it wrong.

Muhammad Ali – Still alive (early 2015) per Wikipedia, but some recall his 2009 death. I remember having thought he was dead, but nothing so specific as this. Just thought he was dead.

Sex and the City – Was it “Sex in the City” No, it was never, ever "in." I had contemporaneous discussions about how people got the title wrong, circa 2000 or 2001.

Star Wars – Was the iconic line “Luke, I am your father” or “No, I am your father”? Absolutely "Luke." WTF?

Look at this word . there's an Extra letter T. it was The Flinstones. and .. i see how "flint" works as a pun . but it was Never double T's before.

With the Mandela Effect. it's supernatural. spiritual. it's not Religious .. and that can be confusing when talking about God and Spirit.
i have never followed religion. my family is not religious. my friends are not religious. Religion has done so much Evil in the world - and twisted Truths.
there's a lot of "waking up" :erm: happening in the past few years.
i've gotten into some of the new age trends. mostly for health and fitness.

mind control. flat/ concave earth :?: some of the Biggest Lies/ conspiracies out there.
terms like the matrix and hologram reality. are not that far fetched.
and these things all tie together.
and. i know how crazy all that sounds.
but .. in my defense ;)

It was never the Flinstones.

They are named after a flint stone, i.e. what the cavemen used to make fire.

here's a new one. what is this guys name? the "bad" gremlin from the movie. then google your answer :erm:

I was totes wrong, but also, kinda right, since I actually guessed the name of his analog in Gremlins II.

Anyways, this whole subject makes me wish that I liked weed or had a line on some LSD.
My mind always goes to "Spike" but thinking back to my childhood (I had a Gremlins picture book), Stripe is correct.
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

Real question: does anyone who believes in this thing admit to having a bad memory?

There are real, actual, serious fucked up things that get covered up/written out of history. I don't remember how many T's Flintstones has, because it's not important.

Maybe this falls more in the "other ludicrous things" category:
Beatles song... Paperback Writer.
When I was 5, I would sing "Take the back right turn". NOT "Paperback Writer".
Was it ever "Take the back right turn"?!

I've also been in a frantic, mad-rush to get out the door and spent a few good minutes searching the house for my glasses; and yes. They were ON my face.
Coincidence?! I think NOT!

Seriously though. I've gone down a lot of wormholes with this stuff. I went in with curiosity, and now it's more of an entertainment thing. But still... every now and then... something comes up, that makes you wonder.
