Apparently this just became available.
It's basically just a 8*8 patchbay with no preset switching or anything like that but in a much more convenient form factor than a typical rackmount patchbay.
Could be useful...

Saw a picture of this on reddit. The design is totally awesome. Could be a totally awesome tool for somebody. My board is not large enough for it but this being able to fit alongside the pedals on somebody's pedal train is fricking great.

Yeah, exactly what I was thinking.
Even though this uses minijacks for the routing in the middle, interfacing with a modular requires amplification/attenuation anyway so it'd be more of a pedal thing for me too...

It would still be pretty cool to use with a Send/Return unit which is what I was thinking about.
I want to get one soon but really don't have the board real estate right now. I have considered getting a 2nd board for dirt/pitch effects but then i'm unsure where I would run it. But yes I have been lusting over this for a minute. I would love to record a loop and then switch my looper to the start of my chain to mangle some shit.
