Just curious as to what people have started gravitating towards on their BitQuests.

I seem to end up on the flanger a lot, and the sample rate reducer. Not so much bit reduction, but getting rid of those samples is fun. Flanger is pretty much the perfect flanger... just wish I could slow it down more. Flanger with 0.02 Hz sweep... hnnnng!

For me the reverb and the filter, clean side.

I've always found multieffects to be wanting sound quality wise compared to dedicated effect pedals....is this the case for the bitquest! too? I notice a lot of praise for the pedal on here and was wondering if that's because tou can get more effects in a smaller footprint/takes up less space or because the effects sound so great...I really like the tremoloessence and cosmichorus so I know the good dr. can create a great sounding pedal.

I mostly use the reverb (like 95% of the time), because it is freaking beautiful and perfect for the music I'm currently making. I don't consider it a "all in one" box, but my reverb.

I have a dirty only Bitquest, but I most often find myself turning the gain quite a ways down and using the pitch shifter (octave down), verb, or the delay to make fun noises.

Mine sees a lot of different modes; just great to have a swiss army knife ready to go for when needs arise!

That said, most often I use:
-Flanger (sooo good sounding!) Mostly clean, but I love the dirty flange setting too!
-Delay (my go-to digital delay, also fun for all the crazy it can do)
-Reverb (I also have an RRR, but the BQ does a bunch of other stuff too)
-Pitch Shift (sometimes I need pitch shift, now I always have it)
-Ring Mod (Great sounding ring mod! I don't always use ring mod, but when I do, it's BitQuest ring mod)

Other modes get less use, BUT, still get use from time to time, so very happy they're there!

My board was pretty fully-functional before the BitQuest, but now with BitQuest, I have all those effects I used to have to pull of the shelf, ready and waiting on my board. They all sound spectacular, and such an amazing convenience!

Pretty big learning curve before I could use it on the fly. But once I had all the modes straight in my head, I could bounce between them at will.

I don't usually care for multi-effects, beyond two, in a single box. But, ironically, I've found the BitQuest! to be my favorite pedal, period. I actually like that it has no menus or presets. Each effect is pretty unique, unlike the barrage of cookie-cutter emulations found in a lot of units. And, even though it can sometimes be obviously digital, it does sound very good. Most used:

Flanger
Delay
Pitch Shifter
Ring Mod
Bit Crusher

In that order. Least used is the notch filter. And, I use it clean, most of the time.

Definitely the reverb as the main thing for me, which wasn't really why I got it in the first place. However it just sounds fantastic. I literally have never sat shorter than an hour once I've gotten to the reverb side of the quest, it's soooo good.

I really like the bell-ish sounds from the ring mod too which is where I tend to end up after the reverb wank. The flanger and the bit crusher gets used occasionally too.
As for the pitch and delay sides I have been tweaking them quite a bit from time to time, but have yet to find "that" sound in those parts of the pedal. They're good for the crazier noise obviously but I haven't really used the pitch and delay for actual playing yet.

So true. I had a RRR, but for some reason (despite the RRR being an awesome verb) the BQ verb was just what I was looking for.

I hear you guys about the BQ verb; it's amazing!

I find the BQ verb options and the RRR verb options differ quite a bit so keeping both makes total sense.

And, of course, when I want it, DOUBLE REVERB!

If I didn't have an RM-1N, I'd keep the RRR, without a doubt.

The RRR just sounds so natural, and it blends in really well with dirt. I've got it set up after my frazz, but before my ODs and brootz Elements. I really like using it after the frazz for spaced out sustainy leads with hall 2 (the best!) but it's also nice to grab one of the plate settings and run it before overdrive for noisy shenanigans.

I just moved my BQ from post dirt (where all my modulation and stuff usually goes) to pre dirt. Kicked off Randy's Revenge (because the ring mod is super good on the BQ - no, it's not quite as achingly lovely as the Randy, but the cleaner EQ on it lends itself to stacking and madness), then I figure I'll put a phaser where I had the BQ. This also means that I've started using the delay and verb patches more, and the SRR less. Oh the dilemmas. But I think I like it better on my board where it is. I think. If not then I'll have to somehow squeeze it in next to the phaser.
