Small Bear Small Wart Power Supply

Anyone built one? Thoughts? Reviews? I can't seem to find much else on it... I'm building myself a little pedal layout test/verification setup consisting of premounted pots/jacks/switches/a breadboard/an adjustable power supply and figured while I'm at it I may as well start using a PS instead of destroying the world through my battery usage... Anyone built their own power supply out of another kit?

I'm a little confused with your need application. Why don't you just buy a 2.1mm jack and use a regular boss-style power supply?

That's what I am doing now but I want something with variable voltage for dying battery simulation and ideally that I can use for testing 12 and 18v circuits. Figured then I can use it with my actual pedals too not just for the testbed (I'm being cheap haha).

For the dying battery just put an extra pot between the DC jack and the PCB board. http://www.beavisaudio.com/Projects/DBS/

Id personally just get a 12v and an 18v power supply. DC if you just want to just a single supply and AC if you want to rectify them and get a bipolar supply. But that's just me not wanting to touch 120v :whateva:

Google "LM317 adjustable power supply". They used to sell kits at Radio Shack for pretty cheap too.
