Do yall think its possible to mod the handwired series AC15 units to have the less interactive tone stack ala the custom classic units that have the custom/normal EQ switch and the brilliance switch on the norm channel? or is the circuit too different from each other?

I'm leaning towards yes but no. too much work and too much point to point flying mods. if you want it on one board without being all hacked up I would just sell it and buy a kit for the head.

Compared to the rest of the world the AC-30 bass control is mis-wired in a way that offers distinctive interactive tonal control. It's a very similar tone stack to that in tweed Fender's like the Super and Pro except for the wiring change. If your model has the classic Vox tone-stock wiring I'd have to assume this could easily be changed.

as far as im aware they have the same stack the only difference being that the switch switches lug 1 of the bass pot to ground
