I have the limited run large box version Tone Reaper that Jamie offered around this time last year. It's a great pedal, but how is it different from the current small box version? I know he made some changes, but what are they?

more readily available parts to source. I can't recall if there is a tonal change though.

The v1 was all germy, the v2 is a hybrid.
I believe the tone knob was tweaked to be more refined and useful, and it also had more gain due to the addition of silicon.

I owned both at one point, kept the v1. They were both great, but I felt the warmth of the germy one was the most unlike anything else on my board.

I just got to try a red sparkle V2 in person yesterday at B Sharp Music in Providence, and it was AWESOME. Totally badass. Definitely made my GAS list.
