Re: New Pedals x4
Officially most of the modes haven't really been released yet, there's just protos out so far. I've reworked most of the algorithms to do the env mod and the extra arp modes are being adjusted to be a bit more musically useful.

Holy moly, just got switched on to the Limbo in particular from the delay thread. Basically, my life decision now is grab the II or wait for the III? When is that bad boy available? Apologies if I missed the info somewhere.

Are we able to update our protos when you're ready man?mysteriousj wrote:Officially most of the modes haven't really been released yet, there's just protos out so far. I love my proto III. If these updates are as described, totally worth waiting for.kralc wrote:Holy moly, just got switched on to the Limbo in particular from the delay thread. Even the standard delay sounds are fuckinn amazeballs, so you won't be disappointed when the extra functionality is worked in there.

For the compact version:
I'm building them right now.. First couple have tested all good, so they'll be going out this weekend. There's still a bunch left, looking like late next weekend before I get time to finish more off.
For the big box multi tap version:
Just got shipping confirmation of the enclosures - it's been a long wait. Should be getting them early next week, and they can start to head out the door then.
Still chipping away at the other projects too..

Wait, will the big one also have all of the modes of the smaller one?

Nah, couldn't fit in the extra switches for that if I tried. It just has the normal(old) modes.Inconuucl wrote:Wait, will the big one also have all of the modes of the smaller one?

Sorry to be the guy who keeps asking questions with possibly obvious answers - Does the III have the chorus/vibrato setting like the II?

There's a waveshape mode switch on my proto iii.
It does the chorus/vibrato thing.

Re: New Pedals x4
It'll do chorus but technically not vibrato. Vibrato needs a really short delay time, and the ability to cut any clean that normally gets mixed in. The multi tap III can get close to vibrato as you can set it up for a shorter delay line and cut out any clean - but it's not really designed for it. Vibrato is really only Limbo II thing, but there's a fairly subtle difference between vibrato and chorus.kralc wrote:Sorry to be the guy who keeps asking questions with possibly obvious answers - Does the III have the chorus/vibrato setting like the II?

Thanks for the reply. Not a dealbreaker in any context, I want a delay for the delay, just curious!

I'd say the new multitap is def worth the wait. I have both.

Balls, so busy I missed out on the Compact Limbo III. Any chance more of those will pop around soon?
