i have a basic audio double beat going into a fuck as my only peds for a band. anyone use this as their sole dirt? giving it some real thought.
Aside from a Hawk for fuzz and a 4545 for #*$$wdFwehfhf$dhekke##eiroud*fdf*idvsf, the FM is my sole dirt. I use the mountain range for just past the point of break-up/lighter overdrivey sounds, and the mini for heavier distortion/fuzzy distortion. I tend to stick to that range of sounds for my band's set, but as far as just messing around and jamming I'm pretty sure anyone who's played the FM can attest to its versatility. Despite the FM being made up of two overdrive-ish pedals, they both have very distinct qualities to them and can go from mild to wild (I fucking hate that expression, but it's the best I've got) either on their own or combined.
