there are always anime, manga, comic, art type peoples that are not annoying but fuck Ill take annoying online peeps over ones you actually have to deal with IRL... those you can't just close the window on... and you can't hit them upside the head

Can hang up the phone or walk away. The only ones that complain about that are the brass at work, but they'll find something to bitch about anyways, might as well be that.

There's a themed drinking thing every month now plus the annual weekend retreat thing, they are always upset that I don't go. Last year they went to a hotel specifically to see this band play from 6pm til midnight.

umm wow... yeah... mine likes to do this whole Xmas thing... I never go.. I like that all any of them know is basic suffice stuff and that I like weird music... they don't even know where I live

You have to deal with clients, that's worse, bad for business when you ignore them.

BUT. they rarely invite me to things outside of work.
