Working 15 hours today, overnight for new years and then in the evening, all time and a half. I'm going to watch the new season of Black Mirror, eat all the Ferrero Rocher's we have and do absolutely no work in that time.
For me this is a pretty perfect way to spend new years.

Over the 3 day weekend I got the rockwool insulation ordered, so I can start finishing my basement jam/recording space. Yesterday I made some bomb ass chick parm and garlic bread for dinner and everyone enjoyed it.

3 weeks later, worked up the courage to send a therapist an email about setting up an appointment. We'll see how this goes.

It can be such a help to get therapy and I hope it works for you. It's a big step!

playing an epic show next weekend with my skramz band. and i just joined my favorite local sadboi pop punk band. holy shit.

edit: well i gotta try out and they have one other person trying out. but still. getting offered to play in their band is flattering as fuck.

Had my first practice with a new band today. I'm not used to hearing dudes freak out about my playing, but its nice to hear "tasteful", "good tone" and "nice amp" every now and then. Stoked for the future and hopefully, more shows.

woof, just dropped $515 on t-shirts, but i got 3 large commission jobs & 2 personal projects worth of garments out of it. I'll be keeping *hella* busy for the next week or so, but the payday at the end of it will be super nice. I just wish I didn't have a normal job to balance too.
What's cool is that if I kept this workload up consistently I could either more than double my annual income or afford to quit my job entirely.

It looks like I finally repaired my KORG Trident synthesizer! Now it only needs a thorough tuning of the sixteen VCOs and then I'm in synth string heaven again!

With all the things that have gone wrong/broke in the last week, I finally got my dish washer fixed.

super proud of myself. i learned the entire setlist plus one more song in two nights for the aforementioned (couple posts up) band i'm auditioning for soon.
