I'll probably arrive friday afternoon. Will have to spend some hours at work that day, since it is the first week after summer holidays, but will try to get an earlier flight than last year.
Thinking of taking the night train back to Bergen, so I can be there as long as possible on the Sunday.
Had a blast last year and is really looking forward to this!

If any of you non-scandis are thinking of seeing more of Norway while you're here, let me know if you're going to Bergen.

I'd take ognoy up on that. I lived in Bergen for a good 7+ years. Beautiful city and the train ride there is stunning.

I was thinking about that last year but I couldn't make the timings work because of arctangent the weekend after, but if we're doing it earlier in the month I might look into extending for a bigger holiday in Norway.

Also, can confirm that meeting Eivind in the middle of the night and drinking till everyone else arrives is a fun time.

We've now found a new rehersal space downtown, so jams are going down hard! I doubt people can sleep there, but if anyone really, really wants to I can ask after we've settled in a bit there.

Yup! My dad was from Sortland. I still have the farm.
