i never really liked chorus. that is until i got a cosmichorus. after trying a few others, the sea machine included, i decided i did not like chorus its just that i love the cosmichorus and the v3 is even better than the v2.

Depending on how the balance, and tuning are set and by varying your pick attack, the wet signal can go from sitting on top to immersed to background drift.

I think what I'm looking for is that LFO sound that staggers in and out of focus, like a boat rocking on the ocean or a focusing-in-and-out camera shot (ala any POV shot that focuses on getting knocked out--a lot of first person video games use that).
