Well since it's in the name of funds for a sea machine... I've got a blood red v2 crusher and v1 red reaper, I haven't a/b'd them with the pinks yet though.
That is one beautiful-sounding clip. Not just the pedal itself, but the way the composition brings out its best. It sounds like as you added on the layers, you used a slightly crazier setting for each one. In other words, the low-note progression that starts it out is the more "normal" sound, and then it gets more intense and so on...
Oh yes, I will have to grab one of these in the near future. I think it might love my Roger Mayer Mongoose and my Disaster Transport for that matter! I'm picturing slow, shallow mod on the DT and faster, reverby swirl on the Sea Machine.
I can't imagine I'll ever get one, but that sounds like a fine fx pedal. I've always preffered vibrato over chrous, but the SM seems to get a nice balance between the two and I'm sure more clips/vids will show the range of that flexibility even more.
I should have prefaced this pedal with the fact that I don't like chorus either so it was a fun challenge to figure out what it would take to make one I thought was usable. I was basically aiming for something that sounded like all the effects Cocteau Twins used but all in one pedal. Glad you like it!
this is exactly what I was looking for in a pedal
i was gonna go for the seppuku mind warp, but the controls seem so precise as well as more variety. also, yay local-ish. and i could practically just pick it up from Akron :P

No, not yet anyhow. He only seems to order 2 times a year. Maybe if you bug him he'll get some in
Might as well order directly from you I was just asking because usually stuff that they have there sits for a while and you can eye it once in a while and that makes saving the necessary funds easier. Did I mention this is the Chorus I've been dreaming of..?
yea, this!..but, seriously..not enough builders are tackling flangers nowadays...so far I've only found a handful of decent ones on the market...but none that really stand out..
