This would be the guitar I'd use for my cheesy power metal band.Chankgeez wrote:Yeah, maybe even six or seven.

It's a First Act built for Rick Nielsen. Contact their custom shop, maybe they'll build you one?WeHuntKings wrote:Actually, hell yeah. They're next on the list, gonna get some ugly cheap metal/plastic grills then some nice vintage looking grill cloth over them. Someone put a hole in another speaker of mine so not taking that chance again. Thankfully the speaker is easily fixed.H18 wrote:That exposed woofer makes me nervous. Grillz yo.

Just got a t-40 same setup suburst with a maple neck a couple months ago, I didn't think i'd be leaving the t-40 club so quick, but I got an awesome playing j-bass in a trade which has more of a jangly punk sound I want in my current band. also doesn't cave in my shoulder with it's weight. t-40's are great for the money though, only quirk was what i believe to be design flaw with the bridge with string alignment from nut to saddle where the low e rides close to the edge. I though it might be an issue with the neck pocket but there is no play and the neck is a perfect fit.kbithecrowing wrote:So I've posted this around a bit, but it belongs in here. My old/new T-40 (serial number puts it around '82/'83). Beat up pretty good but I'm workin' it into shape. Haven't seen this finish very much, if at all, but it matches my guitar nicely.
