I think The Edge uses it, actually.
But it is one helluva pedal, need to fiddle more with it.
I think that the Edge being a (former?) user is the biggest knock against the Cyber Psychic. I love that pedal and all LAL stuff (I have 10 of 'em). The Cyber Psychic is almost too much sometimes to find a permanent place on my pedal board. I get awesome overtones, oscillations, pulses, and fuzzes out of it but I always just want to run my 46 straight into the amp (which in combination with the Cyber Psychic is fun for a bit but it gets to be way too much).
As for the Misty Cave, it has such a natural and crazy feel to it. I'm not really a delay guy (I own a few, but they just sit there and ask me why didn't I get something I'd actually use) but the Misty Cave really feels organic and responsive. It gets volume swells, ambience, metallic, and machine-like depending on how I play it. It's one of the few pedals that can get me to play without fuzz.
Hirofumi is a very nice guy too.

My Misty Cave is warm and wet. Definitely one of my favorite pedals. And I ain't no LAL fanboi girl. Most of his stuff is too extreme for my tastes.

I wish the misty cave had an LFO to modulate the delay time, but I should probably just buy an expression pedal for it anyways. I think it sounds coolest when you're moving around the D. Time knob

Ouch
I dont think that will sell anywhere near that price. But an envelope controlled tremolo sounds awesome
Also I got a reply from LAL regarding expression pedals
100k ohm for sick pitch king jr, Tone axe, cyber psychic
10k ohm for Super oscillo, toxic plant, misty cave
He mentions the moog ep-2 for 100k ohm, and Roland ev-5 for 10k ohm

That's just silly. That was one of the ones I didn't order years ago because I'm an idiot. I always thought it was neat and it was the reason that I found lastgasp in the first place (time varied tremolo).

Nice To have the information in one place. I think he mentions which one is preferred in each description on his site but not really a reason why or what the value actually is. Thanks for the fact-finding.
Sick pitch king jr came in today. Finally get to retire the old EHX FA. The SPKJR is way more usable and musical. Just a few more to complete the collection. Haha. Can't wait for his new pedals either.

isn't there a mod to the ds-1 to do the same thing?

Congrats! sick pitch king jr really benefits from an expression pedal.

It's not nearly what you think (the ds1 trem mod). Very lofi, for lack of a better word. Still neat, but not a replacement for something like the ripplet.

Alright, so my initial reaction to the Sick Pitch King Jr. was based on really low volume on my amp. It was just a quick check to see if that and my Repeater arrived in working condition. I thought it sounded great but I had the blend at noon. Today I got an opportunity to play at a louder volume and fiddle with the pedal. Is is just me or is the Sick Pitch King Jr. really quiet? When I turned the blend all the way to the right it was full ring mod but the sound was really low. Even running a high gain fuzz before it the volume never changed. I ran a boost after and it sounded fine. Tried it a few different places in the signal chain and even just by itself and the volume problem was still there (though less noticable because the ring mod is basically at line-level for my guitar clean. I also tried the my Moog EP3 into it and it had a very narrow sweep (it made it oscillate during the first few degrees on the toe down side). When the OSC switch is on the oscillation is barely audible.
My guitar is a Jaguar HH at the moment.
I relistened to UG's and Kayzer's demo/clips of it again just to make sure I am not crazy, but on UG's demo the ring mod comes in full bloom at around 10 o'clock but mine stays really subtle. Thanks again for all the demos UG.
Am I expecting too much of it? Is there something wrong with it? Is there anything I can adjust? Just feeling out any suggestions before getting in touch with LAL and sending back across the world. Thanks for any help. I'm going to go ef with it some more and see what happens...

I dont think its quiet, but sometimes in certain combos I do find the volume to drop with LAL pedals. I get a nice full sweep with my ep-2, LAL said the ep-3 wasn't tested yet. Hope that helps, also perfect circuit audio sells LAL if you want to buy " locally"
