the whole album inadvertently being at the same BPM makes my head hurt
definitely some good stuff in there, though. lower the RPM a bit and it'd be like analog vaporwave.

Oh, for sure. I have a couple CM records.
Back when I was in HS, I had read about Record Without A Cover, probably in Spin, which had some oddly hip content.
At the first real show I ever played, a sax player form one of the other bands had a copy of it with him at the show for some reason, mind blown. I'm now friends with that guy and he occasionally guests with my band.
