Interesting. I never thought about battery life with those drool-inducing Bilt guitars with built in CBA Moods. And these don’t have battery options, so how fast would these be draining a battery if they aren’t designed with battery life in mind?qersty wrote:the mini-pitchfork looks very put-in-guitarable

Necro bump and maybe not new but Brand New Noise is making some great kid friendly stuff... I've been jamming the Shaka Khan, Loopy Lou and the Zoots Kalimba to great effect... Kid stuff is still fun even when you're old as dirt like me...
Can't mess with the standard line-up pricing, tho, as that would devalue all the oldies but goodies. Distortions will always be cheaper than modulation, and people will always pay more for modulation.gila_crisis wrote:Very interesting new pedals from EHX!
But... This series is called Pico-DSP.
All share the same control array (4 knobs, 1 push button, 1 footswitch).
That DSP in the name makes me think these are all digital pedals, and I wouldn't be surpised if inside these all look the same. Aka there's a processor chip, that EHX loads with the different algorhythms.
So I don't understand why the prices ranges between 130 up to 250 usd?!?!?
Why pay more or less only because the graphics and the name are different???
Doesn't makes sense to me. I understad you need more effort to program a polyphonic pitch-shifter instead of a distortion, but those are cost you can cover equally over the time EHX is selling these (and they will sell).
Time to hack ye Fishman Fluence system (or somesuch), methinksGone Fission wrote:Interesting. I never thought about battery life with those drool-inducing Bilt guitars with built in CBA Moods. (first third of the video) At around 30% wet, these sound quite good---it's sort of like realistic fantasy reverb---occupying a space between the epic character of DSP and natural room reverbs. ---Reminds me of the Strymon Dig experience, which has a sound in between digital and BBD.Gone Fission wrote:Pigtronix spoiled their own release embargo, and I suspected it but didn’t screen grab.
They’re trying to build suspense for a product drop on 9/26 but their YT showed the scheduled video briefly today. It’s a reverb with morphing, name started with an “o” I think. Looked like the same form factor as the Gloamer and Infinity 2.
Morphing could be interesting. Or not.
