Found this synthtastic voyage while doing an investigatory side-step while listening to a heap of New Age albums I'd downloaded years ago and had never gotten to:

solo (mostly ambient): https://heraclitusakimbo.bandcamp.com/
duo (electroacoustic vibration exploration): https://wenderlypark.bandcamp.com/
trio (tapes/voice/clarinet/synth/poems): https://ourwaytofall.bandcamp.com/
band (spontaneous kosmische): https://stargoon.bandcamp.com/

I also help co-ordinate Okta, ILF's collaborative community ambient project: https://okta.bandcamp.com

Hehe just bought this one and J'un Oeil (another Sloche album) last week. The reissues are super cheap, like 15$ CAD and limited to 500 if I remember correctly. I really like the little riff that starts that Stadacone album.

the caped one hisself :D

interesting to hear the Rick quoting from the same sources as Keef on Catherine Parr

idk why, but the bit before the orchestral opening is stumping me, if it's even Wakeman and band (is it ye Englishe Rock Ensemble yet? still a bit early yet - Jeffrey Crampton wasn't fired til later in the year) as opposed to an opening act - the guitar player sounds better than Rick usually allowed for in his solo material :idk: (i guess if Crampton is on the opening cut, that could be the reason for his firing - not sure The Cape appreciated "stage hogs", but i guess it could have been any number of reasons (also - while whomever's playing guitar has obvious single-note facility he also sorta sucks @ note bending)).

edit: found a complete rendition of the Opening piece, and it definitely sounds part and parcel of Wakeman's show :snax: but i don't recognize the song from any Wakeman album :idk:

not from this tour, but it's an interesting/ostentatious read: https://www.rwcc.com/programmes/1976RWInConcert.pdf
