I'm sure you can relax since it's so obviously clear that I HAVE to be the Winner! It's taken them this long to recover from my prose!

Prose is by definition not poetry and therefore not something for a haiku contest.

Almost. A Haiku has syllables of 5/7/5. I'd suggest:

Summer soon will end.
Twittering birds in blue box.
Firmware updated.

as they say...unprecedented times. Although I feel the mtl version of that would be to deliver on the promised date...actually a week early would be about right. really seems like up is down lately. hope everyone is hanging in there, keeping themselves sane with the bottomless pits of inspiration that scott's work is.

First post..
I'm really liking what this pedal is capable of. MTL.ASM did a great job.

One of my favorite things about MODE 1 is the Filter, as well as the Modulation (via Q Down + knob combinations)
Something I thought was lacking in the Red Panda Tensor.
They really help separate the Wet signal from the Dry (specially if you're playing live on top)
plus they make a huge difference in terms of warmth + taming the digital chirps.

I was wondering why aren't these also available in MODE 2 and 3?

As far as I know, Q Down does nothing in MODE 2,
and it adjusts Playhead levels in MODE 3 (which I personally would ditch in favor of Filter+Mod)

cheers

Has the haiku winner already been announced?
It didn't say anything in the newsletter about it.

It's always a tiny-little-bit too soon or too late, but it annoys me a lot.
I wish there was a way to set that switch as a standard looper with a first press to start recording and a second press to stop recording and start playback.

To be clear, I still love it as I did in the past years, but it would be a big improvement for live performance IMO.

I will look into it, there is a version like this of one of the older firmwares but it may lack some of the later features for the standard fw. I believe it is .941k here

Hey Scott, just an update regarding this: yesterday i finally tried the old firmware you linked and it works as you said, only downside is that apparently it doesn't recognize the press/release to record or end recording/start playback if it's too quick, so if i just tap on it it doesn't start to record anything.
The only way to make it work is to press it for - i think - at least 0.5sec and then release it, but given the fact that the recording start on the release of the footswitch it's even more difficult for me to be on time
Now i re-updated the firmware to the latest one, i don't know if there's room for improvement for the tap thing in a future firmware release, just wanted to give you a feedback. :thumb: :thumb:

Not that I'm aware.

I used to love that tap to start and stop firmware and I resisted updating for a long time. I've lately found that the Red Panda Tensor does a great job of everything I liked about it.
I'm happy to have my Ct5 for the Nightly firmware now.
