Japan trip tonight. :!!!:

Don't think that a shopping rush of guitars and figures (maybe one..) is in my future, but 711 Onigiri and Beer is a welcome sight.

Have fun!

I got a jerb in publishing today. Nice little literary publishing collective downtown. Since I haven't done jack shit in months, it'll be nice to get cracking on something. :thumb:

If you want to buy beers in a combini, try to find some Yona Yona Ale. Or another one from the same brewery (Tokyo Black, 水曜日の猫 (that one is written in Japanese on the can, light blue with a stylized cat),etc.). Lawsons usually have these, and also some really nice ones with a drawing of a frog on the can. Very recommend.

Congrats on the jerb. That sounds like a good gig. Is that the kind of stuff that interests you?

A work problem solved itself yesterday and I didn't even have to fire anyone. Looking forward to less BS and less terrible music on the stereo at work.

Yes and no. They publish some philosophy and a few novels every now and then, but it's mostly history and other variants of factual prose. Getting a job in publishing in Norway is really hard to begin with and I need the experience anyways, so I thought it okay to give it a go. I'm skeptically optimistic. :)*

'Jerb' is how Scandies pronounce 'complicity with our totalitarian socialist regime.'

I ran my Tera Echo into the Mini prototype and realized something.

This.

Is.

Supposed.

To.

Be.

Fun.

I'm not being facetious. This shit is supposed to put a smile on your face and make you forget all the shit you cry over when no one is looking. I think I forgot.

God, I'm glad I decided to stay in Kyoto before Tokyo, so chilled. Walked around some castles and just had a curry.

But I've well and truly confirmed that I can't function on travelling days/staying up for 40 hour days.
