There is no better feeling than finding out that the repair I did a while back that was sent to another repair service by the customer's customer (my customer was an installer) had nothing wrong with it and the problem was a result of the installer's screw up and not mine.
Also, I just made cheesy potato casserole semi-from scratch and it tastes awesome.
Safe and sound in Kentucky. The wife is already interviewing for jobs, the dog is happy, my dad is thrilled to have me home. I only have internet or phone access when I drive into town, about 30 minutes away.

Had a weird work week but had a nice dinner with my manager-peers where we laughed and joked and ate too much food and had appreciation for the people I see so frequently.

Took two hours to make, but this probably the best cheesy bread I've ever had.
Made the dough from scratch, shredded the cheese from blocks, mixed up the spread.
