Fuzz Righteous - Product Update and Pricing

Postby culturejam » Sat Aug 09, 2014 12:41 pm

Got the finished boxes in hand. We're just waiting on some final parts to come in, and then it's off to the races. And by that I mean I'll start building.

Some final details:

• Circuit is Based on the Mossrite Fuzzrite
• SS9013 Low-Gain Silicon Transistors (hFE ~100)
• Internal DIP Switch Bank for Modern or Vintage Tone Selection
• Modern Components for Quiet Operation and Tight Tolerances
• Top Mounted Jacks
• 125B Enclosure Size
• Lifetime Support (if it breaks, we will fix it; some charges *may* apply in some situations)
• Comes with fun and stylish cloth bag :)

Pricing: $145
Shipping: $6 US / $12 International

I'll post more pics once they pedals are assembled and ready to ship. We don't sell anything that doesn't exist! :poke:

Just curious, would it in any way (even not such a pretty way) be possible to put the modern / vintage tone selection switches on the outside of the pedal or not at all?
good deals with: the_brow, phantasmagorovich, alexsga, DarkAxel, goroth, The Wood Wizard, Tendollarcat, vbps, monkeydancer, intothegroove, Brobee

We debated about internal vs external switches. The final decision to keep them internal was based on the idea that we think most people will "set and forget" once they get the sound they like. Also going inside reduces the cost per unit by about $5-$7 (smaller PCB, DIP switch is a lot cheaper than two quality toggles). And third, external switches block up the fancy artwork!

Not sure what you mean by "or not at all". All 10 units will come with the internal DIP switches. You don't ever have to use them, and you'll never know they are there if you don't open up the box. :thumb:

Oh, I just meant whether it's not at all possible, which seems to be the case.
Only a personal preference really, the pedal looks nice.

Anything is po$$ible.

But we're really not looking to do custom work on these unless it is exceedingly lucrative.

Thanks!

The shipping price is about what it will cost to most destinations. We're not trying to make money on the shipping. That's kinda shitty, I think.
