Treble bleed for Jazzmaster

I've only ever used the Duncan type. I'd be curious to hear the differences between them. I'm guessing that the rolloff curve and amount varies.

I just did a little bread board to test it out with a stock squier mascisJM... I think kinman is the correct choice. Felt just right, puts that little bit of treble back into the sound. seemed the other two options made too much change on the taper not enough change on the treble. And then simply a cap with no resistor was way too much treble.

why would anyone not have one on their guitar?

they sound like barf and they make fuzzes behave weirdly, and then they sound even barfier

there was a treble bypass cap in my parts tele initially and i could not get it out fast enough. i'm far too used to the sound of a normal volume control.

50s wiring is enough of a push towards not losing highs excessively without being too much like a typical treble bleed.
