What fascinates me about the aesthetic of the Flying V (besides the fact that it screams RIFFS) is that it's geometrically linear and clean, that neck and headstock kinda fucks up the whole concept.
I can't even press play, I saw who's in the video and that's enough to avoid it.. At first I thought it was one of those fender necks, and It wouldn't have surprised me.
Yngwie is great in small doses. Like, if Rising Force or the Seventh Sign turn up on a playlist they make me happy. Not so much if I listen to their respective albums.
Cross-posting from the GAS thread because it's my first Flying V. Just spent an hour jamming and I really like the big neck even if it definitely needs a setup - planning to do it over the weekend.
