I happen to believe that David Bowie created some of the best weird pop / rock music of the 1970s and early 1980s... but then he did this, which is quite unforgivable:

I actually like Tin Machine, though not perfect. I think it was quite important that he didn’t just let himself become Phil Collins. I’ve always seen that band as important to reviving his creativity.

A couple tracks on that first album I skip, but I like it enough I’ve had a passing thought of buying II since I can’t stream it.

I like Tin Machine. if you want a Bowie atrocity, i nominate the version of "Dancing In The Street" with Mick Jagger.

OMG. How was that not on the first page? Jagger could still deported to The Hague for trial on that.
