I don't know if this song was ever really "prog", but you said prog covers were OK, right?

well, i don't have any say, but yeah, i like that one - idk why but youtube wanted me to watch it after i got through with a buttload of chuggerator demos, lol

i'm impressed with the ease of her handling both the gtr and vox simultaneously....

ok, so i debated putting this in here...no, not really
this is just what this thread needs right now
and i get to decide since i'm the only one who even posts in here anymore  :poke: ;)

special thx to Robert "Bob" Drake who's supernatural hold on my listening attention led to the constant bombardment of William D. Drake vids by YT thus hastening my strangely theretofore diffident descent into full Cardiacs obsession - all hail the absent Timmy Tim Timtim and the Eternal, Philip Pilf

but, yes, thank you too, Wiliam D., for continuing to make music i find so enjoyable

actually, CMI stuffs and stuffs like that would make for a thread i'd likely haunt....

here's some more "heavy prog" that is more capier and less cooler tho...(also less (non) mellotrony):.

Not sure this is even prog (it's probably not), but, at least, Kurt's wearin' a cape (or somethin' ):

i'll take it, especially with that pedal steel up in there - "anything that mixes pedal steel and synths is automatically prog" said no one ever, but in my kingdom it is the rule of law

i'm still stuck on old William, the court harpsichordist

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wM32MOm6qU

he is currently resisting my regal decree to form an Imperial Explorers Progge Bande with Sir Robert Drake, The Right Honorable Hamid Drake and Baron Nick Drake and to buy an Epiphone Sorrento - Prototype 1969 Sunburst for Sir Robert to play in the Bande...off with his head! bring me Sir Richard Thompson - i shall order him to form a Terpsichorean Trio to accompany the Royal Ball to include the two royal Dannys - Duke Danny Thompson and Count Danny Ray Thompson, on bass viol and shawm respectively, however, Sir Richard shall be required to purchase this Pro Grade Carnatic Oboe for Count Danny Ray to play :snax:
