Yeah, actually not a big fan of Brain Salad Surgery. Tarkus (the track) is the best work they ever did. Be that as it may, gather 'round and let us discuss the true music. The way of the cape. The beauty of extended improvised parts. The glory of neatly composed tracks filling an entire side of an LP. This, friends, is unimpeachable. It is known.

I haven't listened to this for ages and some would argue it isn't prog, technically, but I'm pretty sure long spacey meandering sections and splitting the band onto one disc and the synth/noise stuff onto another to be played at the same time is pretty fucking prog.
As is the album name.

The album version is good too (The Least We Can Do Is Wave To Each Other) but this live version is just special.
