aw damn, time to start over

im working on a song right now, and its in my usual jazzy thing.
but after listening to liberal amounts of Boom Boom Satellites, Sneaker Pimps and Hooverphonic ive decided that this song would sound uber amazing with a nice break beat thing.
now the problem is that im a guitarist, bassist and drummer; in that order.
im not nearly good enough to bust out the beats i want.
so im gonna go all MIDI all the percussion, for the first time ever.

im gonna do the beat first then ill put the actual song on top of it.
im definitely gonna want some opinions after its done :)

i just realized that you guys havent heard my music, aside from that one song.
ill get one up later today, pretty much sums up alot of what i do.
though I must admit, im not too proud of the drum track or the vocals on this one.
come to think of it i really dont like the guitar parts either....
wow the only thing i really do like is the bassline, lol

anyway its called Natykat

Acid jazz works for me.
At first I thought you were going in a Roy Clark jazz direction then came the vocals and the lead break.
It would make my mother say it makes her nervous and itch, which always led me to continue what I was doing.

acid jazz?
thats cool i suppose.

I LOVE Roy Clark.
but I couldn't play like him.

what I hear alot is that i play "indie-jazz-pop with a hint of asia and surf guitar leads"
nearly direct quote from a local indie newspaper.

glad you guys dig it
i think :idk:
