Well my girlfirend broke up with me after 2 years and while she was on a different continent. She just called me up one day and broke it down... which was ridiculous cuz she was coming back in a month anyway. It would have been nicer of her to do it like an adult - face to face.

Not a different continent, but when I broke up with my girlfriend of two years and we were living 2 hours apart.... I was in college and I was looking at other girls. I was honest and told her this. She understood. Although about six months prior we broke up and got back together... so we knew our relationship wasn't exactly stable.

Just be honest, if she can't respect that than you don't want her anyways.

wait until she's done her exams
and then do it over skype. ask her to turn off recording (if she does that usually)
try to say as little as possible... just use distance as a main reason (which is probably accurate)
