Neighbors were blasting music at 1AM. I put my amp in the closet facing their wall. I turned the volume and gain up. Turned it on. Turned on my fuzz pedals. (Gated fuzz mind you, gotta be stealthy.) Turned volume up on guitar. Played E chord until it feedbacked. Banged on the wall a few times. Turned Amp Off. They banged back. I yelled "Fuck off". They turned down the music.

Rock and roll wins.

Reminds me of the BBQ I had at mine... basically, my parents hate my neighbours, I started to learn drums, the noisey fuck neighbour at the top of the garden complained (he's some australlian guy, shouts every sentence, parents hate him as he disturbs the peace *and I was learning drums! he was noisier than that!)

Next door neighbours, I was having a BBQ with some friends at 4PM on a wedensday afternoon with a police officer in presence and my other neighbours complained! (the police officer being a mate basically told the guy he had no rights and to go away... especially as he was drunk )

But basically... people are twats... and I feel for you man, I love drumming but I had to drop them... true when sold I made triple what I paid for them but damn were they nice and I enjoyed them and I hate crappy neighbours... even though the noise was vice versa, I feel where you're coming from as I'm considerate, these people are not.

yeah its always nice to know that a good amp (not to mention some nasty pedals) can most likely destroy whatever shitty little sound system your neighbors might have.

i recently had a war with studio neighbours they were recording and so were we, they told us to wait for them cause there work was more importent so we decided to stack all our amps against the wall and keep playing LOL childish but it was so lulz ruined there saxamaphone recordings good

My buddy's neighbors used to always flick there cigarette butts into his yard, even after he told them to stop. He's a mellow dude mind you. So one day he just picked up all the butts from his yard (which was a lot) and stuff them in his neighbors' mailbox. The next night, the neighbors lit his mailbox on fire.
