Most everything forward of the fuel tank has been replaced since this picture (hit and run = upgrade time) and I've since given up shining chrome so it's a bit different now but this has been my primary mode of transport for coming on five years:

I drive a 2004(?) Ford Focus. Exact same color as seen here, though this is not an actual photo:
I'm always getting shocked on the fucking door, you have to SLAM the fucking trunk to make it close (sometimes more than once--not so good when you're coming home from a show at 2 in the morning and getting crap out of it), and the stupid tape decks in these things suck (tapes flip endlessly, tape won't FFW/rewind right, playback head gets stuck in play position, and you always have to eject the tape when you shut off your car, otherwise it'll do that endless flipping bullshit upon starting the car)... I wish I knew how to fix the thing (and don't say "install a CD player"!

).
Seriously, it annoys the fuck out of me... It didn't always do that.
I'll say this, though: I like the color because it makes finding it in the (over)crowded parking lots on campus much, much easier.

This is what I'm driving for now. Hopefully getting rid of it this summer for something a bit newer
