im building the first prototype probably later this week. obviously it is going to be a mufflike pedal, but how do you want the mids?
flat, scooped, or in between?

Tough call...I guess a slight scoop would give it a bit more of the "muff"-ness, but I like my mids.
Big no to heavy scooped though.

well regular scoop is out, but mild scoop and flat eq are neck and neck

I say flat, with huge caps to increase bass. So what the flat cuts out of the hugeness the caps keep it big but let it sit nicely in a mix.
