After Ryans thread for your favourite horror film and receiving a £10 Voucher for Amazon which is roughly about 5 Bad DVDs I wanna know what your favourite Best - Worst horror films are ever so I can get a list of 4 or 5 to buy, an amount of Alcohol or other aids required to enjoy rating is also good.
I'm thinking anything from Plan 9 From Out of Space to The Gingerdead Man (which I just found on youtube, starring Gary Busey as a murderous Ginger Bread Man

)
Go!

I drove 40 miles to see Blair Witch on opening night... second time I watched it was just 6 months ago. It has aged well. I still really like it.
Troll 2 is the Worst. Movie. Ever. Hilarious, but seriously fucking BAD. Really, really bad. Awesome.
Others:
Gingerdead Man
Adam West's Tales From Beyond (partially filmed in my favourite local bookstore, w00t!)
The Tingler
Vampyros Lesbos (watched it just for the title, yes it lived up to it)
Zzyzx
The Stuff
Prince of Darkness
The Brood
Mark of the Devil
I really liked all of those, except the Gingerdead Man, as it was shite. But worth mentioning, because I would watch it in backwards VHS slowmotion before ever sitting through Troll 2 a second time. Whilst sober at least.

Is that Adam West's as in... Batman Adam West? Cause I gotta see that if it is, I think I might have seen Vampyros Lesbos too if it was some badly dubbed 70s flick... was showing on the horror channel here, I was so wasted though I don't remember it

Is The Troll anything Like The Leprechaun cause that was pretty fucking funny too.

Haha, I saw Blair Witch on opening weekend too... I've seen it a time or two again and I don't know, it's got some really cool things about it but it's also got some kinda lame or disappointing things about it.. and it's just plain hard to watch too... I dig that ultra real style but geeez that movie is tough to watch.
I like horror movies where machines are evil and I recently watched a very bad but in a good way Stephen King movie called The Mangler... it's about a crazy old sewing factory machine that eats people every now and then. Mr. King's Creep Show movies are pretty bad but cool too.
Lifeforce is quite shitty but cool... space vampires... the chick stays totally nude pretty much the entire movie... it's bad but good.
You can't beat Killer Klowns from Outer Space.. it's got every element that a shitty but awesome horror movie needs like comedy, music, gore, ridiculous premise... it could be the best worst horror film ever in my opinion.
I know this isn't exactly what Scruffie is looking for but my favourite awesome horror done poorly, and I know it's on purpose, but Garth Marenghi's Darkplace has all the cool things we love about shitty horror movies.

Yes, Batman. Seriously bad movie, but hilarious. I don't even remember anything about Vampryos Lesbos, other than the fact that it features THE most beautiful creature ever to walk the face of this earth, Soledad Miranda. Absolutely stunning beauty.
Re: Troll 2, this is all you need to know:
? wrote:During production, the film was known as Goblin, and some foreign releases of the movie were labeled as such, but upon release in the United States, the title was changed to Troll 2 in an attempt to help sell the film by connecting it to an established horror movie, the 1986 Empire Pictures film Troll. The two films, however, have no connection apart from the title. In fact, despite the title, no actual trolls appear in Troll 2.

You raise several good points...
One, i've never seen Creepshow 1 (only 2) so that could be a good one (I like Romero too and he directed it I think?). Two, I watched The Killer Klowns from Outer Space trailer before I started this thread, I think I may have to do a poll but that's looking like a winner already and Three, I wont get it on DVD as it's pretty expensive but I love Garth Marenghi!

Hilarious but bad is good and Adam West always gives me a good laugh... Yeah I remember the woman in Vampryos Lesbos being pretty stunning but I put it down to ultra beer goggles at the time but perhaps not.

No actual Trolls...

Any thing with Jack Nicholson.
Little Shop of Horrors (1960), The Terror (1963) his, career should have ended there or the Shining (over acted).

I've seen Little shop of horrors (and started watching The Terror, that was bad) I think the thing that disturbs me most about those films is how young Jack Jack Nicholson Looks... rather than his current appearence not too dissimilar to this
And can you over act a madman? My bit of philosophical pondering for the day... None the less, I do like The Shining, it's one of the Few Stephen King adaptions I like, I don't think i'd put it in the class of Bad Horor movies.
