T. Rex and Otis Redding are both amazingly awesome and I hope you think so too. I know they're pretty different styles of music but both band/artist have been exactly what I needed musically for at least the past few weeks, maybe month.
Marc Bolan is amazing. Hot Love is such a fucking good song. T. Rex fucked with the blues just enough and I love it.
Otis has the voice of God. His songwriting is impeccable. His band is unbelievable.
I don't know if I'm preaching to the choir here or what but I thought I'd share my current obsessions.

Otis tenderly disembowels me every time I hear him. They call it soul for a reason,y' know? And Marc Bolan is one of my all time favs. Don't know if you've heard the earlier stuff he did when it was called Tyrannosaurus Rex,but A Beard of Stars is fucking ACE! Oh yeah,and Otis Redding is from Macon,GA,90 miles from where i live
