I can honestly say I've never heard a Canadian EVER say aBOOT unless they are talking about the fact that people think we say that

I've only ever met Canadians from the coasts. Montreal and Quebec definitely have it, and the couple people for BC and Vancouver I've spoken to had the OOt to a lesser degree.
