Goddamnit what did I do

Alright, I got a new tube amp today, and decided to have some fun. I was jamming for a couple minutes after turning it on when I decided to have me some oscillatin' delays. Well, the oscillation was so loud that I rushed to turn the volume on the amp down and it had no effect whatsoever. And I was on the gain channel, the delay was in the loop. I shut the amp's power off but kept the standby switch to "on", and the delay was still oscillating with the amp off. Then I realized that I should just turn off my power brick. I think I tried turning off the delay but it didn't because I was on trails. Did I hurt anything on my amp? I haven't turned it on since then because this was like 5 minutes ago.
:picard: :picard: :picard:

Probably a stupid question, but I treat my amps like my children so I am just making sure I am not missing some important info.

And once again, :picard: :picard: :picard: :picard:

I'm pretty sure oscillating delays only increase the risk of blowing a speaker/your eardrums (according to my Digilog's instructions.)

edit: Just read the entire thing... it says when running with excessive volumes, "don't overdo it because it could harm your amplifier."

I hope your amp is ok!

Next time, dude, just pull the jack out of the amp. And pleaaaase don't do that to any children! And merry christmas - i hope everything turns out ok. I've never blown a speaker due to oscillation.

The amp is perfectly fine! I REALLY underestimated it's volume capabilities, it's terrifyingly loud. The volume at 1 is about as loud as my cranked 60w amp at 8, I doubt I'll ever go past 3. EVER.

Absolutely nothing was harmed :joy:

Tube amps can take a lot of abuse and keep on running.

You have to crank it up just to get the tubes breathing right.
If the furniture starts to move then it’s set right.
Too loud?
If the police don’t show up you are fine.

If they DO show up, tell them you're running a fucking business. And you need to practice.
