i am bored and i thought this idea deserved a 2nd shot. i know there was another thread but it seems like it kinda died so im going to try to revamp the idea

so heres my idea if you guys really want ilf shirts.

if people have a design in mind - we can make a thread for you to submit it and people can vote on them

if you have a design you want (if several people are into it) - someone/myself can try to design it - and it could be entered into the voting or whatever

now, heres one of the things that would make it much easier to get shirts - pre - ordering. some people might think its sketchy, i personally dont have to be the middle man - if tom (or another person you guys trust) wants to do it/ has time to do it they can. i am willing to be the middle man if no one else wants to. i ship out stuff often and i have sent pedals to tom a few times (as most of you know) so id hope i have some trust.

anyways back on topic! - pre ordering - i figure this way - the shirts will be paid for by everyone who wants them as opposed to a single person shelling out money they probably cant afford to. also - it means you WILL get your size.

so the way i see it we could do this - everyone who would seriously want a shirt - say you would be into pre ordering. i or whoever dont need your money until we reach a certain number - most places have minimum orders and ideally we would reach/ exceed that. if you want 2 make sure you write 2 or however many.

if the interest is here, we have no reason not to go ahead and do it. just need a plan! so whoever is interested just say how many youd pre order and then if we have enough people - we will move to a design stage and so on.

now - i cant say for sure how much they would be. the price of the shirt + shipping + a couple bucks to keep the forum up/ maybe prizes for giveaways? believe it or not - forums generally arent free!

thats just an outline, i think thats the most efficient way of going about this. then no one has to front the all the money. i hope no one is offended or mad at me for starting a new thread - just trying to keep the idea alive in a little more structured way.

yep. and i really am sorry if i missed something in one of the other threads if there was progress being made or whatever. if so, simply ignore this!

depending on the price I'd like 2, if the price is over like.....idk $20 ill stick with one, but ideally 2 in different colors would be best.
as for the design, i still really like DBs fuzzkeleton yo

well, figure shipping will be a 1 time cost for 2 shirts. idk how much shipping will run but id guess 7 or 8 bucks? i can GUESS that to pay for the shirts and get a few bucks from everyone for the site shirts will be around 15? so youd be under 40 for 2 shirts im just about positive! and if they end up being less, even better.

actually - the more people who order the cheaper they will be - not by a lot but... they give you discounts the more you order.

i would buy one for sure and if i really really like the design i might buy two!

i expected a much larger amount of responses to this. i will just make sure to keep it active and hopefully others will ask for a shirt.

man i think i have like 150 tee shirts in like 3 suitcases and another 30 in like my chest-of-drawers; however, a hoody or even a sweatshirt might be cool.

well what i need you to do is accidently lose all 3 suitcases so youll be down to 30 shirts- then you can buy an ilf shirt! sounds like a plan to me.

hoodies would be considerably more. i personally wouldnt hate a hoody but i dont want to fork over the extra dough to get one.

Is the Cafepress rout not an option? I don't remember much from the old thread. Was there a shirt guy lined up already?

It really depends on the graphic. If I like it I'd get like two, If I didn't I wouldn't bother.

I am totally on board with the concept of ILF shirts, and the concept of pre-ordering. For t-shirts, I'd probably be looking to stick to (or preferably below, but I know that depends on quantities ordered and whatnots) the $20 range (not counting shipping). At this point, I'd probably order one, but who knows - maybe I'd order some for friends later on.

I would definitely like to see graphics before committing to anything, just so's I can know...

and mcspunkle - im not sure what was going on with the other thread, i just noticed it kind of died so i decided to start it a new thread with a general plan layed out so it might be easier to make happen.

cafe press is an option, i dont know of their quality but i just looked at the site (for the first time in...5 /6 years?) and now they have a group ordering page thing where you can see price cuts... i think for 12 shirts they end up being 13.24 each... so i guess thats not too bad? i dont know if thats for black shirts, white shirts, 1 color - etc so.. i couldnt tell you much about it.
