thoughts on Vintage Revo guitars?

i’ve watched a bunch of demos, and some of these look really interesting. they have some unusual and wacky features, and a few of them sound great. i’m particularly amused/amazed by the pudgy jazz bloke with the perma-smile who plays the metal-dude neck-through guitar and gets gorgeous clean tones out of it. unfortunately the demos out there aren’t great, but here’s some decent ones.

so has anyone ever played one? or seen one IRL? they don’t appear to have great distribution in the States, and that’s complicated by the fact that the other JHS, the British firm that owned Vintage, went tits-up earlier this year. their site shows US dealers, but i’m not curious enough to drive to Maryland or Norfolk nor taken enough to order online though i’d seriously consider the jazz/doom neck-through. anybody?
