as for me, aside from the long lines at the Festivus Pole for the Airing of the Grievances, I guess I can't really complain.
I'd say 2021 really can't be worse, but I'm not gonna.

here's hoping that 2020 was the first eight bars (in 4/4, starting at 0:16) of the head to "Fables Of Faubus" by Charles Mingus--the uptight snippish melody with its deadly parody of the heroic 1800s military airs--and 2021 is the next eight bars, that beautiful hurricane of modernism, Black cool, and freedom that blows the stiff old country ways right off the stage and well out into Lake Michigan.
