and they are quite the looker actually...
I mean it ticks all the boxes... Matching Headstock anyone?
They're not the cheapest, but for sure they don't have the low quality knock-off vibe going. Which is nice.
Anyone have experience with one of those? I may be tempted by something like this...

Huh this is news to me. Looks quite cool.
Shape + layout reminds me a lot of the Ibanez Talman basses.

True!
They have a whole lineup, actually:

It is quite the sechs, I'd like to try one of those...

co-designed with Dan Lakin of Lakland fame - even the headstock font looks similar

Not really. I just dislike the designs of a lot of those in very small unimportant ways

My bandmate has an Ibanez talman and I actually really like it but it's active which is bleh.
I really want a yamaha BB sometimes whenever I think about getting a new bass.
Keep in mind my comments are from someone who has a fender J and a fender P/J and has enough basses, but just likes looking at nice things. I would probably go for one of those other options before buying these
if I was in the market in the first place for another fretted bass.
As we established recently in another thread I'm just another boring person who loves fender basses
EDIT: I take it back there are some cool schecters
