Help me find the source of this mysterious verdant box:

Sorry for the clickbaity title... I mean I know it says Ct5 preset controller when you click on the imgur source but it doesn't tell me where to actually procure it...

A reverse google image search threw up this reddit thread.

someone there links to this ILF profile. Might be worth shooting a PM, or sticking his username in your thread title?

I found exactly those results with reverse image search; but when digging through Cortex's posts I found no mention of this green enigma. I may have overlooked the exact post, so I will try to PM Cortex but his profile suggests he hasn't been on ILF in 2 months... I thought/hoped that IF anyone else would know more of this, it would be on ILF, not on Reddit, because ILF is the collective all-knowing one when it comes to outlandish pedals

Here's a Ct5 preset-cycling controller that allows exact, dialable, parameters as well as whole bunch of other coolness. It also has knobs to control all of the secondary Q functions. Plugs right into the Ct5's Exp/CV jack. Not mine, and not an official MA release. Some guy on ILF with a proclivity for coding in Assembly makes them.


This would seem like something anyone with a count to 5 would want, I certainly do, it would be so useful to be able to easily call up the exact same sound from that weird little pedal as it is certainly something I have struggled with when finding an amazing setting and then suddenly not being able to find it again without struggling to find the sweet spot in the knob position!

Also, MM swapped out the Frogg for a Cool Audio Modulator at some point, so I should have known better (frequinntly analyzinn)

Thank you for digging that up echorec, that's a post I probably overlooked while scrolling through forum search results. Functionality like that on the Ct5 would interest me greatly, but unfortunately Cortex has not (yet?) responded to my PM...

Also, I fully support the notion of this becoming a collective thread for the purpose of identifying mystery pedals/pieces of gear

2 months later (haven't been too active lately myself...) but no word from Cortex unfortunately
