So, I was thinking it's time to hang out a little again.

I was thinking Berlin or Amsterdam, and around April/March? Book an 8 people hostel room in time, see some local concerts, drink a few beers, listen to coldbrightsunlight and dos argue over which bands can be placed in one of the three categories "worst band ever", "not bad but I'd rather listen to X" or "best of all time". It's fun!

Perhaps we can even find a space and jam a little?

The idea is that this is some type of weekend trip, at least on my part, but if we decide on Amsterdam I'll be able to hang out any day/for a longer time.

Heard a few voices say amsterdam so far. So, before brexit in amsterdam seems to be the call

wish i could go. i really need to visit A'dam again; my last visit was 2006.

Don't discredit going to Europe just because it's far though! Amsterdam is a massive connection and I wouldn't be surprised if you could find a flight for sub $400

no doubt. but i'm saving for a massive 3-week trip to the mountains of the American West next September, so i can't see a way to afford a trip overseas as well.

i've wished for years that i could move to NL, but in reality i think i'd miss the mountains of the West too much. even more so i'd miss the vast expanses of land that are essentially uninhabited and more-or-less preserved as such. there's nothing like going up a dirt road and leaving Western Civilization behind.

Yeah dutch people loooove that shit. Actually loads of them move up to the swedish north because its basically uninhabitable. so you might be right
